Bob is a native of Ann Arbor, MI graduating from Pioneer High School. Bob played football at University of Michigan from 1984-1987 for the legendary Bo Schembechler. He graduated from the University of Michigan in 1988 with a BGS Degree from the School of LS&A.

After Graduating he worked at Domino's Pizza World Headquarters for a year and a half and attended graduate school at EMU. In 1990, with his twin brother Rick (also a former player) they founded Stites Financial LLC, a Financial Services firm in Ann Arbor.  He currently holds, through LPL, his securities registrations series 6 (Investment Company and Variable Contracts), 7 (General Securities Representative), 63 (Uniform Securities Agent State Law), and 65 (Uniform Registered Investment Adviser Law).  All registrations are held through LPL Financial. Bob is also licensed for Health and Life Insurance in the State of Michigan.

Besides his Wealth Management Firm Bob serves on a few different boards. Bob is the current President of The University of Michigan M-Club letter winners, and a board member for the DDA in Scio Twp. Bob also donates his time to Motts Children Hospital. He is a past board member of the National Association of Remodeling and the Chelsea Chamber of Commerce.

He continues to live in the Ann Arbor area with his wife and two daughters.
